Situated on a hill on the outskirts of the town, this detached bungalow has been full refurbished and offers an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a wide decked balcony at the front with stunning views and two pretty bedrooms. From the drive, 12 steps take you to the front door, then the accommodation is all on one level thereafter. The living area has superb views over Woolacombe towards the award-winning beach, a modern woodburning stove for cooler evenings and comfy sofas to relax in after a busy day exploring North Devon. The well-equipped kitchen has modern white units, an electric oven and gas hob as well as a microwave, integrated fridge and slimline dishwasher. A fridge/freezer is in shed at the rear of the property and there is a storage, drying and utility area in garage (external access only) with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a wet room. The two pretty bedrooms share the use of the bathroom. Outside, at the back of the property there is a lovely decked patio with a lawn. Both the patio and the balcony have outside furniture and there is a gas barbecue for al-fresco dining on a balmy summer evening. Highfields is a short walk to Woolacombe Beach which lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities and has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK by Tripadvisor in 2015 & 2016. It also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday.
