Description

Pickwell Manor is a beautiful Jacobean residence set within six acres of stunning grounds and rolling countryside. The manor is steeped in history dating back to the 10th century and mentioned in the Domesday book of year 1086.

The property has been thoughtfully divided into ten apartments, which retain the historic features of the manor whilst simultaneously offering beautiful and well-equipped and sustainable holiday accommodation.  

A short drive from some of the finest beaches in the South West, including Putsborough, Woolacombe and Croyde renowned for its surfing and with a its three-mile expanse of golden sands this area is also ideal for ramblers with the dramatic coastline and South West coastal path.                                                 

The picturesque village of Georgeham is also just a mile away with two local pubs serving real ale and local food.

The main Pickwell Manor entrance give access to this stunning apartment which is situated on the first floor at the top of the grand staircase.  The large oak door gives entry into this stunning spacious open plan apartment with many original features such as the stone mullion leaded light windows, oak beams and wooden floors.  With three spacious bedrooms, and a large grand family bathroom with roll top bath, large walk in shower and his and hers sinks, this bathroom is also accessed from the bedroom with the twin beds.  The main bedroom is the most opulent with its mahogany King size sleigh bed and views overlooking the countryside.  This room features your own private bath set under the large mirror.  For some quiet time lay on the chaise lounge to relax and read.  This is a truly splendid apartment ideal for families.

With so much to offer outside with 6 acres of shared grounds offering Within the grounds there is a woodland trail, complete with forest basketball, treasure hunt and camp-building kits.  Also, within the grounds are shared facilities of a games room, wendy house, tennis court, basketball hoop, giant chess set, croquet.  Putsborough beach car parking pass available for each apartment, £20 refundable deposit will be required p.o.a
