Description

This delightful barn conversion cottage is located in a peaceful Exmoor Valley less than 2 miles from the beautiful Heddons Mouth Cove. An ideal rural retreat with inspiring country, coastal and riverside walks accessible directly from the cottage.  The famous Hunters Inn at the head of the Heddon Valley offers delightful gardens and good food whilst the facilities of the picturesque coastal villages of Lynton, Lynmouth and Combe Martin are just a 15 minute drive.  One of only 3 holiday properties at the same location The Smithy is in the centre of the row of attractive cottages with its own private front garden area as well as access to additional communal gardens. Cleverly designed and beautifully presented throughout whilst retaining some of the original character including low ceilings (6'6") on the ground floor and vaulted ceiling with feature beams in the bedroom. A good size open plan living/dining room is on the ground floor and a well equipped kitchen area has all you will need for preparing meals. Steep open tread stairs lead up to the first floor where you will find an attractive bedroom offering lovely country views and an adjacent bathroom.
