Reviews

Our holiday home was quaint and old. Extension of working farmhouse. Thouroughly enjoyed staying there. Strangely, our old collie, who usually takes 3 days to settle or eat, made himself at home straight away. Good vibes! Tame sheep in enclosure, welcoming us to the day. Fabulous. Have used Marsdens in the past, and recommend. Will use again. Exmoor is beautiful. No more to say. Visit Heddons Mouth beach and drink in the Hunters Inn garden, which is superb for children. See the Peacocks. The Station Inn at Blackmoor Gate, and The Black Venus in Challacombe for food. Parracombe and surrounding area has a very good community spirit. Worth indulging. Actual entrance to farm is directly opposite pub down little track. We couldn't find it, but asked a local. Would like to return, maybe for a winter break.

Mrs S B,

The owners went out of their way to support my father in law who unfortunately had a problem with his leg. They even walked his dog! Amazing hospitality going beyond what would be expected.

Mr Ian T,

This was a great location and also there was a nice pub with good food in the village about 1 minute walk away. It was nice to see (and hear) the new born lambs in the field just outside. The people were really friendly. We would very happily stay there again.
