Description
Nestled in a peaceful Exmoor valley this spacious and well-appointed farmhouse wing has everything you will need for a delightful holiday with extended family or friends. The accommodation offers great flexibility with two lounge areas, a great dining space, family bedrooms and four bathrooms. Together with a variety of outdoor space including a private patio with a hot tub for that added touch of luxury, couples and multigenerational families will find ample space to unwind and relax. Well-appointed and attractively presented throughout, the property offers comfort throughout the seasons. The front entrance leads into a large hallway with wide staircase. At the front of the property two interconnecting lounges on the ground floor have facilities for all ages and one lounge has a woodburner in original inglenook for cosy evenings during the cooler seasons. The spacious, newly fitted kitchen is well equipped and an attractive dining room adjacent is ideal for planning the day ahead or a special celebration meal. A new wet room has been well planned to be close to the private rear courtyard where a large partially covered hot tub is available. On the first floor there are three spacious and attractive bedrooms two with ensuites and one has an additional single bedded area. A family shower room completes the internal accommodation. Externally there are three separate outdoor spaces. As well as the rear fully enclosed patio there is a small front enclosed garden and a large elevated lawned garden (steps access)which also offers wonderful hillside views.
Surrounded by beautiful Exmoor countryside, Lower Dean is a great base for walkers with an abundance of footpaths closeby, scenic river valleys and only a 10 minute drive to the spectacular coastline between the picturesque twin villages of Lynton & Lynmouth and the pretty cove and village of Combe Martin. The owners riding stables adjacent also offer the opportunity to experience Exmoor on horseback and the stables cater for all ages and abilities. Adventurous smugglers coves, quiet sandy beaches and the wide expanse of sandy surfing beaches in Woolacombe Bay are all easily accessible via a short scenic drive.
