This three-storey cottage which accommodates seven people and two dogs, is located on a hillside in the lovely village of Parracombe near Lynton.

Laurel Cottage has been beautifully decorated to provide modern living with some cute cottage touches. The living room has a high ceiling, large window, a woodburning stove with alcoves either side and plenty of comfy seating around the television. There is a separate dining room and a sunny conservatory for relaxing in all year round. The spacious kitchen and a useful utility room complete the accommodation on the ground floor; whilst on the first floor there are two king-sized bedroom – one with a four poster bed and an en-suite bathroom and a family bathroom with a roll top bath and a separate shower. One of the bedrooms leads into two additional smaller bedrooms – one with two cots and one with a single bed suitable for a child. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms which both have sloping ceilings and are reached by climbing steep, narrow stairs with low headroom. Outside, Laurel Cottage has a fully-enclosed rear garden with a patio and outside furniture.

A short walk down the hill and into Parracombe will take you to the local pub; whilst a ten minute drive gets you to Lynton.

An alternative first floor bedroom with King and ensuite shower room may be available (from Easter until end Oct) strictly by arrangement in private attached annex adjacent to the kitchen (extra charges will apply)

Kitchen: Oil fired Aga, mini cooker with oven, grill and two ring hob, combination microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher

Utility room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, washbasin and toilet


First floor:

Bedroom 1: King-size four poster bed with dressing area. En-suite bathroom with bath, hand held shower attachment over, washbasin and toilet. Leading to two additional rooms, one with two cots and one with a single bed (for a child only)

Bedroom 2: King colonial bed

Bathroom: Claw bath and shower over bath, washbasin and toilet


Second floor:

Bedroom 3: Twin zip and link that can be converted to King strictly on request.

Bedroom 4: Single bed


Pets: Two dogs welcome

Parking: Private off road parking for 2 cars (£20 per week for 3rd car - please advise at the time of booking if this is needed)

Garden/Patio: Paved patio and lawed garden

Heating: Oil central heating and woodburner (complimentary basket of logs upon arrival)

Short breaks: Available all year round (but for specific dates only bookable within 2-8 weeks of the holiday start date)

Notes: Linen and towels are provided (please bring beach towels). Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Highchair and two cots are provided. Pay phone for incoming calls. Storage for surf boards and cycles.
