Description

This stunning ground floor apartment is one of a small complex of spacious and elegant villas and apartments which were originally a Grade II Listed gentleman’s residence and most recently a country hotel. Sleeping four people, Lynton Cottage Seaview Terrace is tucked into the hillside where Exmoor meets the sea, its unique position offers the most spectacular views out over Lynmouth Bay to the high cliffs of Countisbury and the wooded valleys of the East and West Lyn.  Known as 'Little Switzerland' this picturesque area of the Exmoor National Park with its spectacular coastline and quaint, historic villages, offers truly inspirational scenery and walking country. A grand communal entrance hall leads to the front door of the apartment and into a large open plan living/dining room which has floor to ceiling windows offering stunning sea views and a wonderful light and airy space to relax and unwind. At the rear of the apartment, there is a modern, quality kitchen with a range electric cooker and useful breakfast bar. There are two attractive bedrooms a King offering wonderful sea views and ensuite facilities and a twin room at the rear. A family shower room completes the accommodation. Outside there are two allocated parking spaces for the apartment. A short walk up the hill takes you to the centre of Lynton. The pretty village offers great character and a choice of individual shops, restaurants and pubs and is connected to its twin village of Lynmouth by the famous water powered Cliff Railway giving access to a picturesque harbour, Manor Green with its tennis courts and bowling, more shops and restaurants and quiet riverside walks.
