Well Farmhouse is ideally suited to families and is the largest of the five farm cottages set in an attractive courtyard setting. Modestly, yet attractively furnished the thick stone walls of the old farmhouse keep the warmth in during the cooler months and the heat out in the summer. A pretty porch with handy storage welcome guests into the property. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms and a charming lounge with beamed ceiling and an open feature fireplace (logs available locally). The large, traditional kitchen/diner is well-equipped and has a feature window seat. Outside a fully enclosed garden area has a picnic table, bench and barbecue. There is a shared activity play area with climbing frame, slide and swings and fishing available in the nearby River Tamar.
Nestling in picturesque countryside on the North Cornwall and Devon border, Well Farm Cottages offer a tranquil base for family or friends looking to enjoy the many attractions this beautiful area has to offer. The five self-catering holiday cottages, Millers Rest, Trewin Court, Cider Cottage, Well Farmhouse and Well Farm Cottage all provide spacious comfortable accommodation, and can be booked individually or, if required, jointly for larger groups. Set in the heart of the Tamar Valley, visitors can stroll down to the river which borders the farm, to enjoy a picnic or fly fish for trout, take the opportunity to meet the chickens and check for eggs or explore outstanding countryside through the numerous walks and trails.
This property offers a low occupancy discount of 20% for parties of 5 or fewer on full weekly bookings at certain times of the year which means that you are restricted to the use of bedrooms 1, 2 and 3. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this.
