This wonderfully spacious, recently restored barn offers delightful quality countryside accommodation for family or friends.
Situated on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, yet just a short distance from the North Devon Link Road, this is an ideal location from which to explore this beautiful area. The peace and tranquillity of the Devonshire countryside can be enjoyed from this detached property which has been completed to a high standard by the owners. With a log burner, large kitchen, separate dining area and patio garden surrounding the barn this is a wonderful place to relax and spend quality time together.
This rural retreat is just 3 miles from the historic market town of South Molton with its eclectic array of shops, tea rooms and farmers’ market – yet just a 40minute scenic drive to wonderful sandy, surfing beaches.
Views over adjacent fields can be enjoyed from many of the rooms and the patio garden which surrounds the property whilst there is easy access for riverside and country walks close by. Guests can enjoy alfresco dining, whilst watching rabbits at play, pheasants or even a fox or two. The property offers three bedrooms with a choice of bed configuration making it ideal for family or friends. One king room, one twin and a further twin with Zip ‘n’ link facility to super king on request (on ground floor). The first-floor family bathroom provides a walk-in shower as well as a double ended bath, WC and basin. There is also a handy separate WC on the ground floor. The spacious living room has double patio doors leading to the front garden whilst further access is from the dining area and downstairs bedroom.
