Description
One of only 3 properties located within the grounds of the owners own home and with shared use of covered and heated swimming pool and tennis court. An ideal location for getting away from the hustle and bustle of ordinary life. This beautiful area of Devon is known as ‘Ruby Country’ and offers wooded trails, footpaths, bridleways and cycle paths, giving you the opportunity to explore and enjoy the tranquility and the diverse nature of this special part of Devon.
This detached lodge offers a very comfortable open plan living space great for ensuring no one is left out when preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen. A small woodburner is ideal for those chilly evenings out of season and is surrounded by two comfy sofas. The main bedroom offers a kingsize bed and large windows to enjoy views out over the owners small orchard. A glazed door leads from this bedroom onto a large fully enclosed decked area ideal for alfresco dining or just relaxing at the end of a busy day. Three bedrooms with some flexible sleeping make this a great property for couples, friends or families to enjoy a lovely rural retreat. Just a mile along country lanes from the village of Sheepwash with its famous Fishermans Inn serving good food and only 5 miles to the small market town of Hatherleigh. There are plenty of other attractions just a short drive away including Okehampton Castle, Lydford Gorge, RHS Garden Rosemoor and of course the magnificent coastline of both North Devon and Cornwall with dramatic cliffs, picturesque coves and glorious sandy surfing beaches are only 20 miles away.

Notes: Linen and towels are provided (please bring beach and swimming pool towels). Shared use of washing machine in utility area. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. No cot is provided please bring your own travel cot. Shared use of covered, heated swimming pool (available May to September 9am-8pm), tennis court and field with wildlife pond. Secure storage for cycles and surfboards. Saturday changeover and arrival time 3pm.
