This beautiful two-bedroomed cottage, sleeping four people and one dog, is in the quiet hamlet of Kings Heanton near Braunton. The Coach House is in a courtyard of three similar properties and has been renovated to create a cosy reverse-level cottage which will appeal to families or couples holidaying together. A stable door leads into a hall way on the ground floor, which in turn leads into the two bedrooms – one is a double with en-suite shower room and the other is a twin. Upstairs you’ll find the living accommodation which has beautiful countryside views. The lounge benefits from an open fireplace, set into a stone fire surround, high ceilings with beams and latch doors, whilst the separate dining room is great for more formal family dining. The galley kitchen is beautifully decorated, well-equipped and has beech work surfaces. A good-sized bathroom with a shower over the bath is also on the first floor. Outside, The Coach House has an enclosed, paved patio with garden furniture – perfect for al-fresco dining on a balmy summer’s evening. A garage houses the washing machine and fridge/freezer and is also good for storing bikes, surfboards or pushchairs. Kings Heanton is within half a mile from Marwood Hill Gardens. These beautiful, privately owned gardens are set within 20acres and are open to the public. There is also a small adjoining café serving refreshments. On Sundays during the summer the local WI ladies also provide a wonderful cream tea in the village hall next to the gardens.  The property is just three-miles from the village of Braunton with its wide variety of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops and a similar distance the other way to the market town of Barnstaple which has a choice of family friendly facilities including a free museum,  state of the art tennis centre, ten pin bowling and Green Lanes Shopping centre.  The magnificent surfing beaches at Saunton and Croyde are also just a short drive away.
