In a designated area of rural tranquility, four miles from the small hilltop town of Chulmleigh, Round Robin enjoys magnificent views over rolling hills and the Taw Valley. Converted from a listed barn, the original features have been restored and enhanced to provide a great holiday retreat. With many walks through fields and woodland leading directly from the doorstep, and with less than an hours drive to the stunning North Devon coastline, Round Robin offers something for everyone.
This wonderfully spacious and uniquely shaped semi-detached barn conversion is a real find, offering a great deal of original character combined with comfort. The large open plan living room with dining and kitchen area has an impressive vaulted ceiling with roof windows and attractive stone walling. A wood burning stove ideal for cooler evenings to complement the under floor heating is located in the corner of the living area. The attractive spacious kitchen area is extremely well equipped and is separated from the living/dining area by a slate tiled floor. A few steps lead up to the stylish bedrooms. The king bedroom has high sloping ceilings with original oak beams and has a contemporary en suite bathroom. Two twin rooms complete the picture, one having an en suite bathroom and the second, uniquely shaped with curved stone walling, is served by a separate and spacious shower room. Lovely views can be enjoyed from all windows and a private patio area offers a perfect spot to enjoy barbecues or just a relaxing drink after a busy day exploring all that this beautiful area has to offer.
