Situated in the village of Landkey, just 3 miles from the market town of Barnstaple, this large detached house is ideal for families or groups of friends wishing to spend quality time together. With a living room, sun lounge, patio, table tennis/football facility and garden there is plenty of space for everyone and your four-legged friends are welcome too. The living room has comfy seating with views over the garden which surrounds the property and is mainly laid to lawn with shrubs and trees. Snacks and hearty meals can easily be prepared in the spacious, open plan kitchen/diner and enjoyed together around the dining table and there is a handy cloakroom off the hallway.
Upstairs are 4 bedrooms. Master King, double and two twin rooms. The king and one twin room – which can be converted to super king on request - have access through a separate dressing/storage room. As well as a 32” TV, the master room also has its own balcony with bistro table and chairs from which to enjoy the stunning surrounding North Devon countryside and also benefits from an en-suite wet room/wc . A family bathroom with shower over the bath is also available on this floor.
From the smaller rear hallway downstairs access is available to the garage where the washing machine, table tennis/football, other games and secure storage for surfboards, bikes etc is available. A paved patio area in the rear garden provides a delightful environment for alfresco dining on balmy summer evenings.
Local amenities including village stores, Inn and quaint tea rooms are just a short stroll away and the Millennium Green, popular with dog walkers, is just a little further on. Sandy, surfing beaches of Saunton and Croyde or waterfront villages at Instow and Appledore are approx. half an hours’ drive. A FREE parking permit for one car is provided for Croyde's Down End Beach Car Park (until end of Feb 2020).

We were unable to access the property on the day of arrival. However, the Mardens team were very professional and helpful when we informed them, responding quickly and reimbursing our costs for an overnight hotel stay. Apart from this hiccup, we had a lovely family holiday in a beautiful house in a delightful part of the country.
