Seaspray is just a short walk from the centre of Woolacombe and its three miles of golden sands. There are a few steps and a gravel path leading to the front door of this ground floor apartment. The roomy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has comfortable leather settees and patio doors opening onto the decking area and gravelled garden. There are stunning sea views out towards Baggy Point. Outside dining is a treat as you can drink in the stunning views at the sunsets on Woolacombe bay. There are further sea views from the double bedroom which sits next to the lounge. Five steps lead up to two twin bedrooms, which are served by a family bathroom. Behind the property up a few more steps is a communal raised lawn good for drying wet suits. Woolacombe's beach has been voted number one in the UK by TripAdvisor guests for the last two years. It also holds the England For Excellence Gold Award for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer. However it’s not just the beach that brings visitors to Woolacombe. There's a wide selection of restaurants, teashops and bars to enjoy while the laid-back atmosphere makes it a firm favourite for people of all ages. A short drive east takes you to Ilfracombe, which has a delightful mix of Victorian and Regency architecture, pretty harbour, independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The harbour, with Damien Hirst’s infamous bronze statue Verity, and the Tunnels Beaches, are well worth a visit along with the award-winning Ilfracombe Aquarium, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, Hele Cornmill and Chambercombe Manor - one of Britain's most haunted houses. Beyond Ilfracombe is Exmoor National Park, which has the tallest tree in England, the highest cliffs in England, almost 250 species of bird and over 1,000 different flowering plants and grasses
