The Albatross enjoys stunning views along Woolacombe's three-mile stretch of golden sand and out to sea as far as Lundy Island. Large picture windows make the best of the views. This substantial detached property is perfect for extended families or groups of friends who want to be close to the beach but in easy reach of everything on offer in North Devon. The beach is less than a five minute walk. There is a modern kitchen including a substantial American fridge/freezer with ice and water dispenser, quartz worktops, a Nespresso machine and a dining table is well placed by a large picture window overlooking the sea. The double sided woodburner adds to the charm of this room. There is a family room with a high definition TV along with a wide selection of books, toys, table football, an iPod docking station with speakers and a computer. Patio doors lead onto decking with a swing seat, table and chairs for al fresco dining. The lounge has a real fire and stunning sea views. There is a large TV with a surround sound system and multi-room music system, along with a good choice of family board games and unlimited fibre broadband. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, all with Atlantic views, and a new family bathroom. A large fully enclosed back garden has a climbing frame for the children with wendy house

What a privilege to stay in this wonderful family home. It really felt like staying in a much loved family home rather than a sterile holiday apartment. It’s very spacious, two receptions rooms, one of which entertained our children greatly. Boxes of toys perfect for a 4 and 7 year old and the table football went down very well on wet days. We really had no need to bring any of our own toys and books!. There was also a whole room full of wet suits and surfboards to borrow which we tried out. The large garden at the back gave the children some running about time although a very steep slope so may need to take care with younger children. Kitchen was I think the best equipped we have ever stayed in. Everything imaginable to cook, bake and roast if you had wanted to do a lot of cooking! The main selling point of course with this house is the views. From nearly every window imaginable, the vast Woolacombe beach, the gorgeous sunsets and even a telescope to look more closely. For food in the village, we would highly recommend Beach House, especially the Sunday roast.
