Description

Heather Lea is a lovely newly renovated detached house which is just a few minutes’ walk away from the beach in Woolacombe. Facing south and set back from the road with ample off-road parking and an area of private lawn, this 5 bedroom house is great for large families or groups of friends – and their four-legged friend - due to the configuration of the house, Heather Lea can be booked for just four people, where guests have access to all the ground floor facilities, including the garden. The main living area has comfy sofas and seating for 10, with large 43" Smart TV with DVD player, a smaller snug area with seating for 5 offers a lovely place for chilling with a good book or listening to music through the bluetooth speaker. Doors lead to the L shaped dining room which is cleverly designed to lead through to the well-equipped kitchen which has a modern look, large 7 ring gas hob and plenty of cupboards for storage. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, Bedroom 1 with King (Zip and link to 2'6" twins on request) with Smart TV. Bedroom 2 with Double with ensuite shower room and Smart TV. Additional bathroom with shower over the bath with hand grip, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Further separate WC is also available. Carpeted stairs lead up to the first floor, where there are a further 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 3 with King with ensuite shower room, Smart TV and views towards the beach. Bedroom 4 with Twin (Zip n link to Superking on request), Smart TV and views. Bedroom 4 with double with ensuite shower room and Smart TV. There is plenty of private parking for up to 5 cars at the back of the property, and the front offers a good sized south-facing patio area, complete with garden furniture for 10, a perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down with a glass of wine!. Heather Lea is a very short walk to Woolacombe Beach which lies between Morte Point and Baggy Point. This three-mile long stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water. The beach has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK by Tripadvisor in 2015 & 2016. It also holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday.
