Woolacombe itself provides a variety of activities to entertain families on holiday whatever the weather. The beach boasts three miles of golden sands, and a range of on-the-water activities including surfing, sea kayaking, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. Swim safely in Woolacombes lifeguarded waters or relax on the soft, fine sands, the village itself has an array of eateries, cafes, ice cream shops and surf hire, or why not visit Barricane beach café that transforms itself into a great Sri Lankan restaurant and takeaway every night during the summer.
