Description
There are sea views of Woolacombe Bay from nearly every room in this spacious detached five bedroomed home. Baggy Leap is a short walk from the beach and shops of Woolacombe, but due to being situated on a private road just above The Esplanade, it is very quiet and visitors find it hard to believe they are so close to all the restaurants, shops and pubs. The large living room has comfy modern sofas, table football, a pool table and impressive floor to ceiling windows which capture the sea views. The enormous kitchen with its dark blue double Aga, additional double oven and extra large fridge/freezer and dining room with its huge pine dining table, are capable of hosting all ten people easily. A lovely touch is the range of wellington boots in various sizes to borrow while staying at Baggy Leap and a giant jenga set. A second living room with television, sofa and bean bags, a cloakroom, utility room and double bedroom with en-suite bathroom complete the rooms on the ground floor. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, a family bathroom and cloakroom. One of the bedrooms has a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom as well as spectacular views of the three mile beach. Outside, at the back of the house, there is a herb garden with sage, rosemary and mint which the owners have planted to encourage their guests to add to their meals. At the front, a terrace runs the entire length of the house and makes the most of the views. A range of outdoor seats are well-positioned to enjoy both the sea view and the sun and there is a barbecue for lazy summer evening get-togethers. In front of the terrace, is a sloping lawn with further flat lawned area in front of the summerhouse which is perfect for playing the giant Jenga game. Behind the summerhouse, you’ll find the outside shower to rinse off after swimming or surfing.
