The Tides enjoys stunning views along the vast open spaces of Saunton Sands. This modern duplex ground floor apartment is perched on the hill right at the end of three miles of unspoilt and uncommercialised beach with views from most rooms. It sits alongside Saunton Sands Hotel and Saunton Golf Club, both with excellent facilities and a path winds down from the garden to the beach. An internal stairway leads from the main entrance down to The Tides where the open plan layout ensures you can enjoy the views when cooking, eating and relaxing in front of the television. Patio doors lead out to a glass fronted balcony where you can enjoy al fresco dining or a glass of wine as you watch the sun set over the Atlantic. The luxurious bedrooms are downstairs and enjoy direct access to the patio and garden. The main bedroom has a contemporary en-suite shower room while the other bedroom makes use of the gleaming modern family bathroom.

Just around the corner is Croyde, where the beach is rated as one of the best surfing beaches in the world. There is an RNLI lifeguard service available every day from May to September, during the Easter weekend, every weekend in October and during the October half term. If you like rock pooling, head to each end of the beach. And for walkers, there are several footpaths around the village and up to Baggy Point where you’ll be rewarded with an amazing view. This whole area is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest for its geological features. Croyde has plenty of places to hire wet suits, surf boards, canoes and fishing equipment
