Lynmouth Cottages

Sitting at sea level on the northern edge of Exmoor is the picturesque harbour village of Lynmouth which lies in a deep gorge straddling the rivers of West and East Lyn. The village has a good choice of places to eat and drink including an excellent fish and chip takeaway, archetypical Devon thatched pub, cafes and bistro.

Looking over Lynmouth high up on the cliff is the town of Lynton with lots of narrow lanes and independent shops waiting to be explored plus some great cafes to enjoy a Devon cream tea or two! Lynmouth and Lynton are connected by the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway which operates two cable-connected cars by gravity using water tanks.

If you’re feeling energetic, try walking the stunning Watersmeet circuit, or for something a little bit different have a go at a geocaching trail. There are some amazing sandy beaches just a short drive from Lynmouth including Putsborough beach and Croyde, both are a surfer’s paradise or head to Braunton Burrows and explore these huge sand dunes.

So please take some time to browse through our collection of Lynmouth cottages below for your next North Devon holiday!

We're sorry! We do not have any properties that meet your exact requirements.

Some tips for searching:

  1. Busy periods - during busy periods many of our properties only take bookings for seven nights. A short break holiday may not be available, try other dates.
  2. Changeover days - normal days to start your booking are Fridays and Saturdays (some Sundays). Try your seven night booking on one of those days during busy periods.
  3. Widen your search - you can expand the radius of your search by using the distance filter.

Please adjust your search and try again.
