LOVELY HARBOUR VIEWS
Horizons is a pretty apartment situated on the third floor of a Grade II Listed Georgian terrace with amazing views of Ilfracombe harbour. It has a grand open-plan living area with superb views over the town and the harbour, a modern high-gloss white kitchen and comfortable seats arranged around the electric fire, the television and ofcourse the window. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, the same amazing view as the living area and a wall-mounted television; whilst the spacious twin-bedded room is at the back or the apartment. Both bedrooms share the use of a shower room which has a large walk-in shower cubicle.
Horizons is not too far from the centre of Ilfracombe with its delightful mix of Victorian and Regency architecture, pretty harbour, independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. The apartment’s close proximity to the centre of Ilfracombe is a real bonus, whilst retaining its quiet ambience. The harbour, along with Damien Hirst’s bronze statue Verity and the Tunnels Beaches, is just a few minutes’ walk away from Horizons. The tunnels were excavated by Welsh miners in the early 1830s and put inaccessible Crewkhorne Cove within reach of swimmers, helping turn Victorian Ilfracombe into a prime tourist destination. Swimmers were initially segregated for reasons of propriety but now it’s open for all to enjoy. Children (and adults) will love the sheltered tidal pool, refreshed twice a day by the sea’s advance, as well as the rock pooling. There’s also the stylish Café Blue Bar at the entrance to the tunnels, where visitors can sun themselves on the sheltered courtyard while their kids play in the outdoor and indoor play areas. Other “musts” are visits to the award-winning Ilfracombe Aquarium, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, Hele Cornmill and Chambercombe Manor - one of Britain's most haunted houses. For adventures of a less heart-pounding nature, visit the Tunnels Beaches back in Ilfracombe

It was totally perfect.
A great property with a fantastic view of the harbour!
Great property with amazing views.
Excellent location and apartment was amazing ... loved it !!!
Beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable.
This was by far one of the very best self-catering accommodations we have ever stayed in. Almost everything had been thought of and/or planned for, and the place was immaculate.
A very pleasant stay in a good location with plenty to see and do. Nice eateries to chose from. Also well located for exploring the local area.
Horizons is a great place to stay, the property is situated on the third floor so 3 flights of stairs ( 59 steps ) to climb, if you can manage the stairs then you will not be disappointed with the property, there is everything you could ask for in the apartment as well as fantastic views over the harbour. Ilfracombe is a nice place to visit with plenty of places to visit locally. The near by town of Barnstaple is worth a visit. Booking with Marsdens Devon Cottages was easy, I asked to change the dates of my booking because I had to have an operation, Marsdens were excellent in dealing with this and arranged a change of my booking with the owner. Excellent accommodation with everything you could ask for, real home from home.
The property was of an excellent standard and furnished to a very high standard the smallest of details, had been thought of thankyou
