The rock pools and smugglers path at Lee Bay provide hours of enjoyment for everyone but especially the kids. There's a cosmopolitan atmosphere at Ilfracombe's quay where pubs, restaurants and shops provide a place to watch the world go by, while boats carry visitors to Lundy Island. The Fernery is close to the Tarka Trail cycle route making use of the old railway line from the town. The stunning Southwest Coast Path is located to the rear of the property just up the hill.
The entrance to the property is particularly interesting, and features a covered area which creates a true holiday feeling from the moment you step out your car, and start to relax! The heart of this stunning, eco-friendly holiday home is the fabulous main living space where the bespoke and inviting kitchen / dining area combines with the contemporary open plan living area, with double height ceiling and luxury leather settee positioned in front of the warming wood burner . Glass bi-folding patio doors stretch the entire width of the living area encouraging the warmth and sun light which is enjoyed throughout this wonderful property. The south facing private raised patio surrounded by glass balustrades is accessed via the patio doors. This outside decked area offers plenty of seating and furniture for al-fresco dining. The contemporary and well equipped kitchen has a Blue range style cooker and offers two seating areas, a breakfast bar and a large dining table, perfectly positioned alongside the full length glass patio doors, perfect for absorbing the tranquil setting.
The Master bedroom on the ground floor offers guests a luxurious space with a king size bed, open plan dressing area with feature twin basin unit. This bedroom also offers the privacy of an en-suite bathroom with feature roll top bath, walk in wet room shower and stylish basin with feature water fall tap.
The washing machine and dryer are situated in the utility room - providing extra storage facilities and drying area. Also downstairs is the seaside themed WC.
Set on an open mezzanine above the lounge area is the galleried style second lounge with two sofas, TV, DVD. The perfectly appointed upstairs Master bedroom with king size bed features a unique curving room with plenty of warmth and 5 windows boasting valley views. The bedroom has ample wardrobes plus the luxury of a ensuite walk in 'wet room'. Bedroom 3 is a spacious, double height bedroom with twin beds and ample storage, benefitting from panoramic views over the back garden and a large Velux window with blackout blinds, ensuring plenty of light and warmth. Bedroom 4 is a characterful room with high ceilings and twin beds, ideal for children. The upstairs family bathroom has a freestanding bath and separate shower.
To the rear of the property you will discover the three tiered levels of the garden with a private hot tub providing the perfect place to "chill out". The elevated garden above provides valley views and additional seating and a pleasant summerhouse.
