Description

Located on a corner plot just a few minutes’ walk from Croyde village and beach, Bendalong is a well-appointed detached holiday bungalow accommodating six people. The fully enclosed garden comprises of both small lawn and patio areas ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine after an energetic day on the beach. Inside the bungalow, the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a lovely cosy feel to it. The living area has comfy seating – great for watching the 42” flat-screen television, whilst the small kitchen is well-designed and well-equipped. All three bedrooms lead off from the living area, as does the shower room, with newly fitted cubicle, wc and basin. The centre of Croyde with its choice of surfing shops, restaurants, cafes and of course the beach, is just a few minutes’ stroll from Bendalong. The beach in Croyde is one of North Devon’s most beautiful - a horse shoe bay of golden sand backed by dunes and lapped by the surf of the Atlantic Ocean. It is popular all year round for surfing and the RNLI are there from May until September, throughout the Easter weekend plus October half term. There are rocks at either end of the beach providing pools full of hidden gems for children to explore. To the far side of the beach the headland of Baggy Point, owned by The National Trust, provides an exhilarating backdrop with pathways for walking. This whole area is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its geological features. There are also plenty of places to hire wet suits, surf boards, canoes and fishing equipment without having to leave the village.
