Description

Bamboo is beautifully decorated detached bungalow situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the well-known seaside village of Croyde. Sleeping four people and welcoming one dog, the bungalow has a lawned garden, driveway and garage to the front and a delightful patio and lawned garden at the rear – great for those who wish to have sun all day long. The sociable, open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area is light and airy thanks to the large window at the front and the patio doors at the rear leading out from the kitchen area onto the patio. The kitchen has white high-gloss units and granite work surfaces and provides plenty of storage space for a family of four. Both bedrooms are spacious – the master which has a king-size bed, benefits from an en-suite shower room whilst the twin bedroom has the use of the family shower room. Outside, the driveway leads to a garage which can be used to park the car or as storage for bicycles, surfboards and wetsuits. There is an outside shower for use during the warmer months, making it much easier to wash away the sand after just coming off the beach. The mature gardens at the front and rear are enclosed, and there is also a sunny patio at the rear complete with BBQ and wooden garden furniture.

The centre of Croyde with its many shops, restaurants, cafes and of course, the beach, is just a few minutes’ stroll from Bamboo. The beach in Croyde is one of North Devon’s most beautiful - a horse shoe bay of golden sand backed by dunes and lapped by the surf of the Atlantic Ocean.  The beach is popular all year round for surfing and the RNLI are there from May until September, throughout the Easter weekend plus October half term. There are rocks at either end of the beach providing pools full of hidden gems for children to explore. To the far side of the beach the headland of Baggy Point is owned by The National Trust and provides an exhilarating backdrop with pathways for walking.
