Combe Martin Cottages
Nestling in the most scenic countryside is the pretty coastal village of Combe Martin which borders Exmoor National Park to the East and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty on the West.
Combe Martin’s sheltered cove offers a safe place for swimming, SUP (stand up paddle boarding) and kayaking plus there are plenty of rock pools to explore and sand building opportunities. Sea fishing is also popular from the bay.
The village is home to a number of pubs, café and local shop along with a really informative museum which tells you all about Combe Martin’s heritage.
Walkers can enjoy direct access to the South West Coast Path which passes through the village with some of the best coastal scenery in England. Walk 13 miles East along the coastal path to see the spectacular rock formations of the Valley of the Rocks near Lynton.
Further afield you can visit the popular surfing resort of Woolacombe which is just 4 miles away or the Exmoor coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth where you can take a ride in the famous cliff railway.
