Description

Pixie Croft is a delightful property situated between the vibrant village of Braunton, with its choice of shops, family friendly pubs and restaurants and the glorious sandy, surfing beaches of Saunton and Croyde. This spacious, “upside down” house has its living room on the first floor to take advantage of the wonderful views stretching out over Braunton Burrows towards the sea.

Parking for smaller cars is available along the sloping driveway as well as additional roadside parking in front of the property.  There is a pretty front garden laid to lawn and shrub borders.  The entrance has slate flooring which continues along the length of the hallway. Three good size bedrooms are all adjacent on the ground floor. Bedroom one has a king size bed with twin bed option.  Bedroom 2 is a double and bedroom 3 has 3ft twin beds with wall mounted TV.  There is a handy cloakroom/WC off the hallway and next door is the family bathroom. This fully tiled room is a good size with white suite comprising deep, dual ended bath, walk-in shower, WC, basin and vanity unit. The hall leads down to the well-equipped, good size kitchen/diner which is a great social area during food preparation and for quality meal times together.  There is plenty of work and storage space and natural light floods in from two large velux windows, a side window and sliding patio doors which open out into the fully enclosed garden.  A small lawn and raised suntrap patio area with table and chairs, is an ideal spot for relaxing after a day spent exploring the area. Upstairs is a surprisingly spacious living room.  With two sitting areas there are plenty of comfy seats including large sofas with recliners. Great views across to Saunton can be enjoyed from three large velux windows along one side of the room and further windows allow even more light to flood in from the other side.  With TV, CD player, choice of books and board games, this is an idea room in which to relax and enjoy social time together.

Braunton is a popular area for walking and cycling and access to the Tarka Trail is easy from the village centre where cycles can also be hired. Visitors have use of the garage to store beach equipment and bicycles.  This is a great property in a great location offering a great time.
