PROSPECT PLACE

Full of original character, Prospect Place is a newly refurbished 17th Century holiday home situated a couple of minutes’ walk away from the quayside and shops in Appledore. Sleeping upto 5 people and welcoming a pet, the double-fronted cottage has been tastefully furnished in a contemporary style. A comfy lounge area with sofas, soft lighting, hessian rug and modern furniture adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The open plan kitchen/dining area has a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer, a table seating 5/6 and an extra breakfast bar with bar stools. Carpeted stars lead off the kitchen area to the first floor landing, where 3 bedrooms are co ordinated with an 'industrial fisherman' style, with iron bed steads in both the twin and single room, and steel poles for hanging up clothes. The family bathroom is also on this level with a shower over the bath. Downstairs is a stable door which leads off the kitchen area and onto a small/narrow enclosed courtyard with a half table and two chairs, a nice place to sit and enjoy the fresh sea air. Prospect Place is just a couple of minutes’ walk through quaint narrow streets with colourful cottages to the quayside with its small range of pubs, shops and galleries. A seasonal ferry takes passengers to the pretty little estuary village of Instow, with its sheltered stretch of sandy beach, award winning deli and further choice of family friendly pubs and restaurants.

The surfing beach and famous Royal North Devon Golf Club at Westward Ho!, indoor pool at Northam, the Big Sheep family attraction and Affinity Devon Outlet Shopping are all within a short drive.
