Rose Cottage, Kings Heanton, is a charming characterful and delightfully presented country cottage. Its ideal central situation means you can just as easily visit the North Devon Coastal villages of Croyde, Braunton, Saunton or Woolacombe. Exmoor park is equally close, offering a complete contrast for your well deserved Devon get-away. Marwood Hill Garden is within walking distance, where the beautiful gardens are a pleasure to stroll through and the tea - rooms offer great refreshments too. On Saturday 27th October they will be hosting a Beading Workshop, which creative members of the family will enjoy.
The Carriage House, Parracombe sits amidst a 12 acre smallholding, in a quiet wooded valley, and is surrounded by the beautiful Exmoor countryside. With your family pet welcome too, there will be plenty of opportunity to take walks from the door or from any number of superb locations within a short drive. For those of you who have a love of horses then the Exmoor Pony, a native rare breed, will be of great interest.
The Exmoor Pony Centre has an Autumn Fair at its centre near Dulverton on Saturday 27th October from 11am - 3pm, where you can browse gifts and find out about the Trust, further activities and diary events.
If sea or coast views are a must have, for your holiday, then Milkway Cottage in Lynton will not disappoint. Sitting high above the pretty coastal resort of Lynmouth in its more historic quarter, this pretty country cottage offers a delightful escape. The facilities of Lynton and Lynmouth are all reached within a 10 minute walk, which may take longer coming back up the hill.
