If there’s one place to go on your UK summer holiday this year to lap up the sunshine, it’s Woolacombe in North Devon.
The region has been a firm family-favourite for years when it comes to getting beautiful sandy beaches and fabulous weather. The village has won numerous awards in recent years including ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ and ‘Best British Beach’ and there’s plenty to see and do in this lively place. A trip here would not be complete though without a chance to ride the waves and fit in with the locals… with a surfing lesson.
There are plenty of surf schools in the area offering good rates for lessons so there’s no excuse not to grab that board now and start planning your summer escape this year to Woolacombe!
