The village is steeped in history and has much to offer for the young and the young at heart including rock pooling, kayaking, fishing, riding and a visit to the local silver mines or the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. The heart of the Exmoor National Park is just a short drive and the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth and the large surfing beaches at Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde are all within a 20 minutes scenic drive.
