Peaceful edge of village setting with wonderful rural views

The charming village of Goodleigh is set amid delightful rolling countryside on the edge of the Exmoor National park,  just three miles from all the market town amenities of Barnstaple with its good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and with theatre, cinema and other leisure facilities also available.  The village is an idea rural retreat from which to explore Exmoor and  the whole of the North Devon area and the local village pub is easily accessible by public footpath that borders the local Millenium Wood.  The spectacular coastal scenery around Lynton and Lynmouth and the wide sandy beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde are all within a 30 minute scenic drive.

The  accommodation comprises the entire top floor of the owners own home with shared access through the spacious main entrance hall and wide staircases of this listed Georgian Manor. The property is set in three acres of beautifully maintained grounds including lawns, mature borders,  ponds and patio areas and is a wonderful rural retreat after a day walking, riding, cycling or just playing a round of golf in one of the many golf courses within easy access.  The stairs to the second floor gives access to the various rooms in the apartment. Accommodation is spacious, very comfortably furnished and well equipped throughout and benefits from central heating. Ample parking for 2 or 3 cars in private carriage-driveway.
