Mortehoe, with its breathtaking National Trust clifftop footpaths is also less than two miles beyond the smaller sand and shingle cove beaches of Grunta and Barricane. Horse-riding and rock climbing are also popular activities in and around the sands, and the glorious undulating countryside and dramatic coastline of Exmoor is also within a very scenic 10 mile drive.
